Find the cheapest car on your car sales website of choice. I offer this ruined 44hp Corsa for £99. It apparently runs at least.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Or a Saab I actually like for £150.

Hey you live in Horse Balls? I’m in Bovine Crack just down the road from you.

I like to mess with the post code input because I’m 5 years old. Horse balls came from Saab being swedish> Ikea selling meatballs with horse meat in them.

A 1980 Bonneville that doesn’t run and actually isn’t a 1980:

OR, for $50 more, you can have a 79 Celica roller!

It’s a shame the Saab is so far away. It would be perfect for the Mongol Rally.

I actually kinda want that Celica. Although the painted section at the back suggests it’s been in a nasty accident so the shell might be done for.

Yeah it could potentially be a great project.

Half finished Golf mk2 rat rod
. Asks €80 (€90 highest bid already!). Drives and still has a few months of inspection left.

Runningish?
I can probably get this baby back on the road with ten minutes of time and a few dollars in parts. $350

A friend of mine was trying to convince me to do that rally. I’d love to if I had the cash, unfortunately I’m broke and he’s brokererer (he paid £80 for his car).

Doesn’t have to be running, the ones I posted sort of run but arent road legal. I love that Civic though. Shame it’s so rusty.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 14:36 |

I love that rat rod just means letting the paint go or scraping it off now. That is extremely cheap though.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 14:37 |
|
Weirdly enough, that’s cheaper than the non-running cars on my local. We can get a few hundred for scrap here, so it’s not common to see cars below about $500 regardless of the condition.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 14:38 |

It is. But who would buy it? It looks horrible (imho, and I still own a mk2 Golf) and you’ll mostly likely have to junk it in a few months anyway. It’s a great parts car though.
edit: second cheapest I found. 1996 Ford Fiesta . With a Peugeot 505 hiding behind it (this is a sign!) Fiesta with German papers, while being in the Netherlands. ‘Drives well’. €175, firm.
If it still has a valid German inspection it can be registered and get Dutch plates for €150 or so. But you’ll still have a ‘96 Fiesta, and who’d want that?
![]() 06/18/2015 at 14:39 |

We get next to nothing for scrap so you can find almost roadworthy cars for peanuts. My friend got a car for £80, put a battery in it and it goes and stops okay. Needs a crank sensor and brakes bleeding but otherwise is fine.

Its the cheapest running car so far. Its about $450 too much IMHO.

$299 Ford Econoline, for parts only.

Cheapest driving (supposedly) car is this $500 Mazda MX-6

Check out the rally lights!

Should have 100 euros of parts and metal in it. Maybe demolition derby car or for private use, for example a friend of mine lived on a farm so before he had his drivers licence he bought £50 cars on ebay and ragged them across fields until the blew up/ he crashed them.

DO NOT WANT.

I had one of these, sold as a Holden Barina in Australia. Immense disappointment (after the previous Barina I owned was a rebadged suzuki swift). Price sounds right... total garbage

These are both pretty cool. Especially the E series.

Swap in a 2JZ for 2 grand, about 1 grand more for various repairs, boom, ultimate sleeper.

Yeah they are horrid. I would rather have this
https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5046064698… .
Sadly there isn’t any good deals for classic cars this time around.

They were super popular here and I could never work out why. My Dad used to have a 1999 1 litre one. Horrible in every way except the fact that it was sort of reliable. Everyone but the driver had to get out for steep hills or it just stalled.

$500 is the lowest it goes for me within 100 miles or so.

The cheapest I could find with an MOT within 100 miles is this old Fiesta :
For £125. No idea what it might need to get through that next MOT, though.
The next cheapest MOT’d car is this utterly fabulous old Peugeot :
With a slipping clutch and several rather large dents. Yours for £150!

A 300k+ mile Camry coupe needing a transmission. Yours for only $500.00!

ours had A/C that leaked into the cabin, eventually we just hooked up an empty coke bottle and emptied it everyday. trim was just falling apart all over the place. but engine reliability is valid.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:29 |

A slipping clutch at 70k miles? I bet that poor thing has been thrashed. Would explain the dents too.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:31 |

I didnt even know they made a coupe. Odd looking thing.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:33 |

I think it can be said with some certainly that the 106 hasn’t had a particularly gentle life. Probably still no rust, though!
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:33 |

This ones only AC was a sunroof. That leaked too...
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:37 |

It could probably be a usable car for at least a year or two with a new clutch. Not bad for £150 really.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:39 |
|
Looks like a new clutch’d run you about £200, if you don’t want to do the work yourself, so £350—not bad, to be sure.
![]() 06/18/2015 at 15:42 |

For someone like me you could probably keep it under £200 total before tax etc.
